Sorry to hear this!!  I sent my th-74d to United radio in new york.based off this https://www.kenwood.com/usa/Support/National_Service_Centers/
They are the only Kenwood authorized repair centers and I was very happy with the price and turn around time.

I was able to disconnect it but after this happened I only was able only to get the DC connection to power the HT. The radio works fine with the DC connection. I’m looking for someone who could fix it as I don’t the the skill or tools on such small components. If anyone knows of anyone please let me know.
